Getting started
From signup to your first downloaded short in about ten minutes — most of which is the AI working, not you.
1. Create your account
Sign up with your email (or Google/Twitch when enabled). The free plan includes 100 clipping minutes every month — enough to evaluate the product properly with no credit card.
2. Start your first project
Click New project on Home. Pick what kind of video it is — gaming, podcast, education, just-chatting, or general. This isn't cosmetic: it selects the detection weights, the judging standards, and the clip lengths the AI aims for.
- Upload file — drag in an MP4, MOV, WebM, or MKV (up to 20 GB). Uploads are resumable and go straight to secure video storage; keep the tab open until the upload finishes, then everything else runs server-side.
- Import URL — paste a Twitch VOD, a YouTube video, or a direct video-file link.
- Analyze a channel's VOD — track a Twitch channel from Home and pick any recent broadcast. Channel VODs analyze with the full chat replay, which is the strongest detection evidence there is.
3. Let it process
The project page shows the honest pipeline: Preparing video → Analyzing the stream → Selecting clips, with real fractions where they exist. Analysis typically takes minutes, not the length of the video. You can close the tab at any point — processing continues and survives refreshes, reconnects, and even our own deploys.
4. Review and refine
Each clip plays right on its card, with the AI's reason and the signals that fired in a dropdown. Rate clips 👍/👎 to teach the system your taste, then open any clip to use the Studio panel: adjust the cut, rewrite the hook title, or edit the post caption — then Save & re-generate.
5. Download and post
Download grabs the clip as an MP4 named after it — the exact cut of the source video, at source quality.
